28th June 2010 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot surf Air Temperature: 18ºC Sea Temperature: 14ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 22.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 13.1 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) I'd just been out for a ride on my bike when the wind picked up so I got out of my cycling stuff into my wetsuit and headed across to the beach. It was windier than I thought with a solid 25 knot wind, gusting to 30 knots so it was wave board and 5m time. Ended up having a great sail, well powered the whole time with my 5m and loads of nice jumps and gybes. Pretty bumpy out there but good fun. It did ease of a little after an hour or so so I packed up and went home to eat a well earned dinner. |
